There is plenty more to enjoy in Dartmouth and the surrounding areas. The English Riviera hosts a wide range of attractions and things to do whilst you explore this beautiful coastline. Included below is only a small selection of our favourite destinations; our friendly staff have a wealth of knowledge about activities in the area no matter the weather, and are always happy to help if you contact us to ask.
For those feeling more adventurous, the South Hams area of outstanding natural beauty is only a short journey away by car, offering such a selection of stunning nature walks that you will need to visit Norton Park again and again before you’ve seen them all. If you don’t have a car, there are plenty of bus routes available. One of our favourites is the Dartmouth to Plymouth route that stops at the award-winning Black Sands beach.
For those looking to push themselves, the longest coastal walk in the UK passes by Norton Holiday Park, Dartmouth. The stunning 630 mile route around the South West of England gives you a chance to see a gorgeous variety of Devon landscapes and ocean views. The gentle ten mile route to Torcross is a perfect choice for all the family to enjoy, allowing you to walk at your own pace, soak in the views, and make lasting memories together. If you’re up for a challenge, the long coast path to Brixham is tougher, but presents glorious scenes of the River Dart’s east bank and that’s to say nothing of the exciting activities laid out before you once you reach Brixham itself.
